The quilt is done!

I've finally finished Hans' quilt, this is for Christmas. I only have one more to get done now for a gift. I had a lot of problems and interruptions while doing this one, but I like the way the fabric worked with this pattern...I can't remember the name of this block. It looks better in real life, I'm not very good with the camera and our camera doesn't take the clearest pictures, but you get the general idea.

The wedding is a month away

I can't believe that my first born son will be married soon. It is a big step in his and Victoria's life. Steve and mine too!

We had a very nice and fairly warm weekend down in Chicago. The weather was wonderful for November and we saw a lot of things. There was Great America, The museum of Science and Industry, IMax,The Shed, John Hancock and a bit of Michigan Ave. Plus a wonderful group of 21 students made it a great time!

Ya, I thought I'd update.... Alex and I are headed to the "Windy City" this weekend with the rest of the INTO group. I'll try to remember to take pictures. Here's a pic from the last time on top of the Handcock building.

This quilt is finally done....I liked how it turned out! There was a soccer tournament this weekend and after we went to the Texas Roadhouse and Alex celebrated his Birthday...so there was the saddle,
